Job summary

CMD Electric in California is seeking a Superintendent to lead large-scale electrical projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors. You will oversee field operations, mentor electricians, maintain NEC compliance, and collaborate with owners, architects, and management to meet project goals.

The role requires a Journeyman license, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving within a dynamic construction

Qualifications

• California General Electrician Journeyman License is required.
• Proven track record delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail under deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and building code knowledge.
• Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, CPR, First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for safety and environmental programs.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for projects.
• Complete field administration tasks including timesheets and reports.
• Organize and coordinate all subcontractor activities.
• Implement and monitor construction plans, scheduling, and logistics.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 15+ electricians.
• Collaborate with prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, codes, and contract documents.
• Maintain high productivity, safety, and quality control.
