Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical) to join as a founding member of the Supply Chain team. You will drive supplier development, NPI builds, ramp-up production, and ongoing quality improvements to scale with demand.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of PCB/electronic assemblies and supplier quality systems, with a proven track record of ownership and cost-improvement initiatives. Expect up to 50% travel in this fast-moving defense-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, process or supply chain engineering.
• 5+ years in PCB/electronic assemblies manufacturing.
• Proven track record of ownership, negotiating better pricing and driving results.
• Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FAI, etc.).
• Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
• Knowledge of statistical techniques (DOE, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to ensure manufacturability.
• Develop process flows, identify critical points and risks.
• Conduct capacity assessments at supplier sites for NPI and mass ramps.
• Collaborate with design engineers on part/assembly designs.
• Work with procurement to source parts matching supplier capabilities.
• Lead liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Define supplier technical and quality requirements for NPI and production.
• Create and implement PPAP with suppliers for rate production.
• Develop and approve process controls for critical characteristics.
• Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to drive improvements.
• Travel up to 50%.
