Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in public relations and residential and commercial advisory work in the electrical power service field.
• Two years of college coursework in electrical science, business administration, or related field may substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate electrical service installation orders and contract applications; calculate cost for service connection and determine utilization rates.
• Review commercial customer electrical service plans for compliance with power availability and code requirements; prepare written responses.
• Interpret codes and requirements related to electrical service installations; advise on service size and equipment configuration.
• Conduct on-site inspections of new/modified electrical service to ensure safety and compliance; maintain project notes.
• Receive and respond to electric service problems and inquiries; coordinate resolution with staff.
