Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Lead Electrical and Electrical Safety Engineer to join the Leveraged Engineering team. The role focuses on electrical safety programs, design, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems across global plant sites, with strong emphasis on reliability and compliance.

The candidate should have 15+ years in relevant industries, deep knowledge of NEC/NFPA/UL standards, and excellent communication skills to lead and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of experience in Chemical Process or related industries with working knowledge of electrical equipment and electrical safety programs.
• Proven communication, leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting on electrical safety programs, design, startup and maintenance of electrical systems across sites.
• Coordinate with plant operations and capital projects to deliver timely solutions.
• Lead E&I personnel during startup and coordinate field activities for troubleshooting and reliability improvements.
