Job summary

Qnity seeks a Lead Electrical and Electrical Safety Engineer to join the Leveraged Engineering team, supporting global plant sites across lines of business. The role focuses on electrical design, safety program development, startup activities, and equipment reliability, leveraging NEC, NFPA, UL, and NFPA standards.

The successful candidate will mentor others, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects to ensure safe, compliant operation across facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for chemical processing or related industries.
• Strong ability to read drawings and apply electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting on electrical safety programs, design, startup and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with plant operations and capital projects to deliver timely solutions.
• Lead E&I personnel during startup of manufacturing facilities.
