Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Lead Electrical and Electrical Safety Engineer to join our Leveraged Engineering team. This role supports global plant sites, providing consulting on electrical safety programs, design, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment across voltage classes.

The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in NEC/NFPA/UL standards, coordinate with operations and E&I personnel, and lead projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring reliability and

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in the Chemical Process or related industries with electrical equipment and safety programs.
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to function independent of supervision.
Excellent communication skills with management, vendors, and team members.
Experience applying electrical codes, standards and regulations (NEC, NFPA, UL, FM, NETA).

Responsibilities

Support electrical safety programs across plant sites and capital projects.
Design, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Provide consulting services to plant operations and the Leveraged Engineering team.
Mentor and enable others across the organization.
