Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Lead Electrical and Electrical Safety Engineer to join our Leveraged Engineering team, supporting global plant sites across multiple lines of business. The role focuses on electrical safety program consulting, design, startup and ongoing maintenance of electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in the Chemical Process or related industries with strong knowledge of electrical equipment, safety programs, and regulatory standards, plus proficiency with SKM Power Tools.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the Chemical Process or related industries with working knowledge of electrical equipment and electrical safety programs.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to function independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with management, stakeholders, vendors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting on electrical safety programs, design, startup and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment across global plant sites.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions to business problems.
• Plan and direct E&I personnel during startup of manufacturing facilities and coordinate field activities to troubleshoot and correct issues.
