Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an Electrical Quality Specialist to oversee QA/QC across field engineering, construction, startup and warranty phases on heavy industrial power projects. Travel and per diem may be required for multiple sites to ensure top-tier quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership in QA/QC programs, documentation control and contractor oversight, with per diem and travel to support project execution nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical quality assurance for power generation projects.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (NFPA, NEC, OSHA, NEMA).
• Excellent communication and ability to lead cross-functional teams and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Management: review and oversee the QA/QC program for all project phases.
• Conduct contractor audits to verify conformity with design documents and specs.
• Maintain document control with latest revisions and change management.
• Ensure installed work aligns with drawings, specs, and contractual requirements; flag variances.
