Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Pipe & Mechanical Quality Specialist for field assignments across the southern United States. The role emphasizes QA/QC leadership to ensure contractor adherence to project specifications during all phases from field engineering to warranty.

Responsibilities include QA/QC program management, contractor audits, document control, and coordination with clients. Travel across the US is required, with per diem eligibility for qualifying assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical quality assurance, operations, and maintenance in power generation.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, codes and standards for power plant construction, operations, maintenance, and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Management: oversee QA/QC program across all project phases in accordance with specs and codes.
• Contractor Audits: perform audits to ensure conformance with design docs and project specs; provide recommendations.
