Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead electrical construction projects, develop integrated plans, and manage on-site execution.

You will oversee estimating, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with owners, contractors, and design professionals to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget. The role requires ten years in the electrical industry, foreman experience, and a master electrician license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in the electrical industry with two years as a foreman.
• High School / GED with 10+ years of experience; Master electrician license preferred.
• Advanced training in one career discipline or entry-level in two.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and motivated work environment.
• Lead teams and coordinate construction activities per plan.
• Develop estimate and integrated project plan with project team.
• Understand contract scope, drawings, and project plan.
• Manage site logistics with Logistics Service Center.
• Oversee procurements and material releases with Procurement Service Center.
• Collaborate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
• Direct daily activities to plan; dispatch workers and monitor progress.
• Supervise foremen and electricians; ensure safety and code compliance.
• Coordinate with other contractors; ensure quality installations.
• Maintain cash flow and profitability; mentor technicians for promotion.
• Conduct performance appraisals with foremen and electricians.
