Job summary

Lawrence Perry And Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our MEP+L Systems Engineering team. You’ll lead electrical design across diverse projects, from offices to laboratories, ensuring code compliance and innovative solutions that reduce energy use.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong collaboration with architects and clients. We offer mentorship, grants, in-house training, and opportunities for community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on building power and lighting.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and energy codes; able to locate relevant tables quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee electrical drawings for all design stages with internal teams and clients.
• Lead electrical design and coordinate with disciplines to define equipment power and lighting needs.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and code requirements for medium-voltage systems.
• Develop electrical design solutions considering cost, space, constructability, and performance.
• Prepare labor hour estimates, review costs, and write specifications.
