The role emphasizes high‑level electrical distribution, lighting, and energy code compliance with collaboration across architects, engineers, and clients. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 10+ years in electrical engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of NEC and energy codes.
• Experience with design of building power and lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee electrical drawings for schematic through construction documents.
• Lead electrical design and coordinate with disciplines.
• Apply knowledge of design standards and code requirements.
• Develop electrical design solutions considering cost, efficiency, space, and constructability.
• Prepare labor hour estimates and project specifications.
• Perform feasibility studies and load analysis for facilities.
• Support construction administration including RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate systems like PV, standby power, BESS, fire pumps, and grounding.
