AECOM is seeking a Lead Electrical Project Manager to be based in Indiana. You will lead all electrical activities on complex projects, coordinating with clients, GCs, EPCs and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of essential electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• 15 years in construction preferred.
• PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification
• 5+ years managing large-scale industrial, mission-critical or data center projects
• Knowledge of electrical systems, distribution, cooling infrastructure, and critical facility operations
• Experience with cloud-based PMIS and project controls platforms
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical activities across assigned project lifecycle (pre-construction to occupancy).
• Serve as primary electrical liaison between client, GC’s, EPC’s, AECOM staff, and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of electrical infrastructure with project objectives.
• Oversee installation of electrical systems including switchyards, switchgear, transformers, UPS, BESS, and more.
• Monitor contractor performance and conduct field inspections for quality and conformance.
• Coordinate milestones with mechanical, civil, architectural, and commissioning teams.
• Provide direction and guidance per client and AECOM policies; ensure project scope, budget and schedule compliance.
• Support commissioning activities and energization of building systems.
• Review field documentation and coordinate with Project Controls for cost/schedule updates.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with client’s OFCI team for off-site equipment inspections.
