Job summary

Tres West Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Tacoma, WA team. The position leads electrical design, project management, and construction administration for commercial, industrial, and educational projects.

Responsibilities include leading designers and engineers, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring design quality and timely delivery. WA PE license and 10+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Current Washington State Electrical PE License is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of Team Management.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NEC, Washington State codes for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of project-specific electrical design, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
• Provide advanced electrical design personally and through team supervision.
• Coordinate design with mechanical department, outside consultants, architects, clients and agencies.
• Quality control of designs and review of others' work.
• Lead team to produce on-time, accurate designs using REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office, and SKM.
• Conduct site visits to review as-built conditions and develop design solutions.
• Assist firm principals as required.
• Lead design team and manage project processes and milestones.
• Maintain client and project schedules and meet deadlines.
