Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager - Electric to lead complex construction and capital projects in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, design management, procurement, and construction execution to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project management for large-scale projects, strong leadership and communication, and certifications such as PMP/CCM/PE/AIA/LEED are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience within construction, engineering, or capital project environments.
• Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, AIA, or LEED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, procurement, construction, fit-out, and closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Develop project management plans, budgets, fee proposals, and cost projections.
• Oversee permitting, entitlement, zoning, and regulatory approval processes.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide strategic recommendations throughout project execution.
• Monitor project performance, evaluate scope changes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead contract administration, negotiations, and claims resolution.
• Mentor and provide leadership to project management team members while effectively delegating responsibilities.
