Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex electrical scopes for a large-scale hospital construction project in Dallas, TX. This leadership role will manage all aspects of the electrical project lifecycle, ensuring safety, compliance, quality, schedule, and budget goals are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, manage, and direct the electrical construction components of a healthcare facility project from pre-construction through closeout.
  2. Coordinate and disseminate project information to internal departments, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with design teams, general contractors, and other trades to ensure effective integration of electrical systems.
  4. Monitor project progress against schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain critical deadlines.
  5. Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with contractual expectations.
  6. Review and interpret design drawings, electrical specifications, bid packages, contracts, and submittals.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations, including NEC and healthcare-specific electrical standards.
  8. Oversee field operations, site safety practices, and subcontractor performance related to electrical systems.
  9. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to junior project staff and field personnel.
  10. Support project closeout activities, including testing, commissioning, punch list resolution, and client handover.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably within the healthcare or hospital construction sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems design, installation practices, and construction sequencing.
  • Strong familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, and healthcare-specific standards).
  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve complex field issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • PMP, Certified Electrical Project Manager, or other professional certifications are a plus.
