Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects, drive profitability, and mentor a team of PMs and assistants. You will coordinate with clients, manage budgets and schedules, develop new business opportunities, and ensure safety and compliance across all activities.

This hands-on role requires strong communication with primes, architects, and subcontractors, plus the ability to negotiate change orders, track costs, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• PE license is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical construction.
• Proven experience mentoring and managing others.
• Business development/heavy client interaction a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office; Oracle and Accubid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Effectively supervise staff in day-to-day administration or two or more Project Managers.
• Train and supervise Project Managers in company philosophy and systems.
• Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
• Maintain logs required to track project progress.
• Train and supervise a Project Assistant in required tracking duties.
• Maintain liaison with prime client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor construction activities with onsite Foreman to ensure schedule and budgets.
• Investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
• Prepare monthly costing reports.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses).
