AE2S is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure programs across multiple locations, including Fargo, ND. You will guide power systems, I&C, and SCADA, mentor engineers, and ensure quality from planning through construction.

The role emphasizes leadership, client relations, and technical excellence, with opportunities to advance and contribute to national projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of electrical system design experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and regulations related to distribution, lighting, and I&C systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and project delivery for complex infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the technical lead across power distribution, lighting, I&C, and SCADA systems.
• Manage projects from planning through construction (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and guide electrical engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve electrical system performance.
