Job summary
RMS Energy Co, LLC seeks a Project Engineer to design and execute electrical power system projects, including new installations, upgrades, and retrofits. You will blend hands-on electrical design with project oversight and vendor coordination to meet technical specs and client needs.
Collaborate with internal design teams, field personnel, and external partners to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years in electrical design or power system projects.
- Experience with power system modeling tools (SKM/ETAP/EasyPower).
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar for drawings.
- Strong protection, substation, grounding, and wiring knowledge.
- Experience reviewing vendor drawings, specs, and test docs.
- Excellent communication and client/vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute electrical power system projects.
- Oversee project activities and coordinate vendors.
- Collaborate with internal design teams and field personnel.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and client requirements.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
