Job summary

Bartlett & West is seeking an experienced Electrical/MEP Engineer to design projects across higher-education, industrial, and commercial facilities. You will work closely with the Project Manager, develop scopes, price contracts, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, mechanical (HVAC background), or electrical (building systems background) engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering design experience in mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems is required.
• Professional licensure in the states required by the company as soon as possible.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical specialist in mechanical/electrical/plumbing focus area.
• Develop plans and specifications for mechanical/electrical/plumbing projects.
• Design lighting, building power systems, and power distribution for various facilities.
• Lead project scope development, cost estimates, and collaboration with project managers and clients.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams to ensure quality, schedule, and profitability of projects.
