Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Production Support Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) to join the Effector Guidance Electronics Team and support Missile Integration and Test for the SM-3 & SM-6 programs. This on-site role focuses on diagnosing production issues and ensuring robust hardware paths.

You will own TRDs, analyze telemetry data, perform circuit analysis, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and implement corrective actions via FRACAS.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in analysis, test, measurement, or integration of electrical products or systems

Responsibilities

• Technical troubleshooting of hardware and process issues of production hardware and test equipment from system down to CCA and component levels
• Reviewing and modifying designs and system/sub-system requirements as required to solve production issues
• Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
• Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
• Performing analog and digital circuit analysis, and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronic subsystems in simulation
• Preparing technical justifications and presenting to peers, leadership, and customers
• Coaching, mentoring, and leading other engineers
• On-Site production line support
• Some travel to suppliers may be required
