The Effector Guidance Electronics Team provides support over all Electrical Engineering technologies including RF, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power. The Electrical Team is searching for a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for Production Support. The Production Support REA is responsible for supporting Missile Integration and Test of the Standard Missiles family (SM-3 & SM-6). The support includes troubleshooting test failures of electromechanical hardware at all three levels; System, Sub-System, and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA). We are seeking candidates with the skills and passion to own Test Requirement Documents (TRDs), analyze telemetry test data, perform circuit analysis, and identify failures in a real-time production environment. The candidate will work with cross-functional and cross-discipline teams of engineers to support product development and production. The candidate will be part of the missile level troubleshooting team, and work with the integration/test team, engineering, and suppliers to identify the failure root cause and implement corrective actions through the FRACAS process. A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. A candidate is willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
