Job summary

UPS Industrial Services is seeking an Electrical Procurement Manager to join our safety‑conscious team in Hubbard, TX. You will lead procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain activities for electrical equipment to support EPC projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost competitiveness.

You will collaborate with engineering, construction, project management, logistics, and suppliers to meet schedules and commercial objectives. Strong negotiation, ERP and reading drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement management experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and industry standards.
• Experience negotiating complex supplier and subcontract agreements.
• Knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, and contract management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for electrical equipment, bulk materials, and subcontracted services.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, award, expediting, and closeout.
• Lead procurement activities for high-value electrical packages including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, heat tracing, UPS, cables, lighting, grounding, and instrumentation components.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, warranties, and delivery schedules; monitor supplier performance.
