Job summary

UPS Industrial Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Onsite I&E Manager for a project in Hubbard, Texas. This role leads all instrumentation and electrical activities on site, guiding field personnel and coordinating with project management, engineering, quality, safety, and client representatives.

The ideal candidate has extensive industrial I&E experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read P&IDs and drawings.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial I&E experience required.
• Experience as I&E Manager or similar onsite leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation installation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Strong field leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, project personnel, and client representatives.
• Capable of independently managing the onsite I&E scope from field execution through completion and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all onsite instrumentation and electrical work.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for I&E field personnel.
• Plan daily I&E activities, manpower, materials, and work priorities.
• Review electrical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Oversee installation of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Coordinate testing, calibration, loop checks, inspections, and system turnover activities.
• Monitor field progress, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Identify and resolve I&E field issues and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate with engineering and client representatives regarding technical questions and field changes.
• Ensure I&E work complies with applicable codes, specifications, drawings, procedures, and client requirements.
• Support inspection documentation, system turnover, punch-list completion, and project closeout.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company and project safety requirements.
