Job summary

Force Electrical Services is seeking a Procurement Manager in Oklahoma City to lead sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management for field operations across active projects. You will ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services for electrical construction and utility work, partnering with Operations, Project Management, Warehouse, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience in utilities/electrical/ heavy construction preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management experience with competitive bid processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/inventory software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for materials, tools, equipment, and services for electrical projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and blanket agreements; track orders and resolve delays.
• Manage inventory levels across warehouses and job sites to minimize costs.
• Lead competitive bid and RFP/RFQ processes and evaluate proposals for awards.
• Monitor market trends and supply risks; communicate impacts to leadership.
• Reconcile PO, invoices, and vendor statements with Accounting for accurate job costing.
