Turner Construction Company, via SourceBlue, seeks an experienced Preconstruction leader for projects in Saddle Brook, NJ. You will oversee GMP/Lump Sum bids, develop schedules with operations, and build strong client and design-partner relationships.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years in building construction, plus a proven ability to manage costs, risks, and lean process improvements across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; minimum 10 years in Building Construction.
• Experience with variety of building construction types desired.
• Thorough understanding of drawings, specifications, contracts, materials, means and methods.
• Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Preconstruction deliverables, including GMP and Lump Sum bids.
• Collaborate with Operations on project schedule, logistics, safety, constructability reviews, general conditions and requirements.
• Develop, review and approve assumptions and clarifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, design community and trade partners.
• Collaborate with Procurement regarding Preconstruction estimates.
• Lead budget control reports between milestone estimates and communicate variances.
• Lead Target Value Design processes for select projects.
• Lead review meetings with owner, architect and engineer related to Preconstruction.
