Job summary

Sargent & Lundy, based in the Atlanta metro area, is seeking an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join the hybrid work team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will perform electrical analyses for substation, transmission, nuclear, and renewable energy projects, including relay setting, power-flow, arc flash, and grounding calculations.

Required is a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in ETAP/SKM/PSCAD/EMTP-RV, strong communication, and the ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of electrical analysis experience.
Experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, EMTP-RV.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

Perform relay setting calculations and power system analyses.
Conduct arc flash, harmonic, transient, and grounding calculations.
Prepare reports and present findings to clients.
Travel to client offices for on-site consultations.
