Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical systems for Centrus Energy in Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead electronics development, simulations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a DOE-focused environment.

You must have a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years in industrial electronics, with experience in simulation tools and a path toward DOE Q clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial electronics, PEEM design focus.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, embedded systems design, and/or R&D.
• Experience with electrical systems from low-voltage DC to three-phase AC.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of electronics from concept to completion.
• Build design packages and run simulations in PSPICE or MATLAB.
• Mentor engineers and troubleshoot systems to ensure reliable operation.
