Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Sr. Electrical Power Engineer to contribute to DOE-related missions at Centrus Energy in Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead electrical design, power electronics, and instrumentation efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years in industrial electronics, with strong PSPICE/MATLAB/Simulink/OrCAD skills. U.S. Citizenship and potential DOE security clearance are required.

Qualifications

6+ years in industrial electronics with emphasis on PEEM design.
1+ years in manufacturing, embedded systems design, or R&D.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems from low-voltage DC to three-phase AC.
Proficiency with PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, OrCAD.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge electronics from concept to completion.
Build design packages and run simulations in PSPICE or MATLAB; mentor engineers.
Collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple projects balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
