Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a major data center build in Texas. You will own the communication infrastructure scope, lead a cross-functional team, and ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of industrial construction PM experience, NEC/NFPA knowledge, and expertise with Primavera P6 and Procore. Travel and relocation may be required as project assignments vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive construction project management on industrial or large commercial projects.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Experience managing large-scale industrial electrical projects ($15MM–$150MM).
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA safety standards.
• Expertise with Primavera P6 scheduling (resource loading), Procore, contract administration, and project controls.
• Strong knowledge of PEP, WBS/CBS, change management, forecasting, and financial oversight.
• Familiarity with TIA-942, BICSI TDMM, ANSI/TIA-568, fiber/copper testing, and pathway systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and scopes of work for communication systems and prepare abstracts.
• Set up projects across COINs, Procore, Primavera P6, HSE and Quality systems.
• Coordinate permits and licenses with Texas authorities.
• Develop Staffing Plan, PEP, WBS, and CBS; approve Organization Chart.
• Lead kickoff meetings and commercial handover with client and team.
• Develop procurement strategies for communication infrastructure projects.
• Create Site-Specific Safety Plans, Quality Plans and Baseline Schedules in Primavera P6.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, POs, and subcontract awards.
• Monitor installation progress and testing for cabling and fiber.
• Provide accurate forecasting and maintain financial controls.
• Manage project closeout, final billing, and Closeout Reports.
