Job summary

Preston Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver major Mission Critical and Data Center projects across the United States. The role is Temple, TX based with nationwide travel and strong leadership expectations.

You will manage preconstruction through closeout, budgets, procurement, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and client/GC communications. Travel-ready professionals with NEC knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical project management experience.
• Electrical contracting experience.
• Commercial, industrial or Mission Critical project background.
• Data Center experience highly desirable.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications and contracts.
• OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Project budgets, forecasting and cost control.
• Procurement and major material requirements.
• Project schedules and milestone tracking.
• Managing RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Coordinating with Superintendents and field leadership.
• Client and GC communication.
• Subcontractor and vendor management.
• Billings, collections and cash flow.
• Risk identification and corrective action.
• Project documentation and compliance.
• Supporting and developing junior project staff.
