Job summary

AVCON, INC. in Orlando is seeking an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead airport lighting projects from proposal through construction.

You will manage design and technical aspects, coordinate engineers and sub-consultants, and ensure quality control, schedules, and budgets.

Required are a degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience, with AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage airport Runway and Taxiway lighting systems, Approach Lighting, NAVAIDS, Weather Reporting Aids, High Mast Apron Lighting and/or Airfield Lighting Vault projects including ensuring completeness and accuracy of design effort.
