Job summary

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a Project Engineer to lead airfield lighting control system projects, plan and execute to meet strict deadlines. You will design control system drawings and HMI software to meet customer requirements and assist in creating bills of materials for quotes after analyzing customer needs.

You will promote the company image during installations and training, and travel nationally or internationally for start-up, commissioning, testing, and training.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or relevant experience in airfield/aviation lighting.
2+ years of project engineering experience or equivalent.
Electrical troubleshooting and controls are a plus.
Fluent English in speech and writing.
Valid driver’s license with insurable record.

Responsibilities

Takes the technical lead on airfield lighting control system projects, planning, executing and meeting deadlines.
Designs control system drawings and HMI software to meet customer requirements.
Assists in developing bills of materials for quotes after analyzing customer needs.
Communicates and promotes the company image to the airport lighting industry during installations and training.
Travels nationally or internationally to airport installations for start-up, commissioning, testing and training.
Conducts technical training classes for advanced products for customers.
