Job summary

A-C Electric Company in Fresno, CA seeks a Plan Detailer to relentlessly plan commercial and industrial electrical construction projects, identifying opportunities for efficiency through design, engineering, and fabrication.

You will understand the electrical construction process from design to close-out for large projects, establish systematic detailing, and outline installation techniques to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial and industrial electrical construction experience.
• Deep understanding of electrical codes (NEC, ISA) and industry standards.
• Strong ability to plan, detail, and sequence complex electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Understand the electrical construction process from design through project close-out for large commercial/industrial projects.
• Establish a systematic approach to detailing projects to achieve job site success.
• Create basic designs and outline installation techniques to support project goals.
• Collaborate with PMs, Foremen, and Construction Services Team.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and quality of work, even after hours.
• Monitor and improve department processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Recruit and develop exceptional team members and champion safety.
