Job summary

Loenbro seeks an experienced Electrical/Mining Superintendent to lead electrical construction and maintenance across mining and heavy industrial projects. You will supervise field operations, manage schedules, safety, and budgets while upholding high quality standards.

This role requires strong mining and industrial electrical expertise and proven field leadership. You will coordinate with Project Managers and craft personnel to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope, while aligning

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical construction experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• 3+ years in a Superintendent or General Foreman leadership role.
• Experience leading multiple electrical crews of 50–150+ craft employees.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating manpower, schedules, materials, and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in remote mining environments and varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical field operations for mining and heavy industrial projects.
• Supervise General Foremen, Foremen, and electrical craft personnel while promoting accountability and team development.
• Coordinate daily field activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to support project execution.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on budget and meet production goals.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and work packages to ensure accurate execution.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and project specifications.
• Lead safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and field audits while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, company safety policies, and client requirements.
• Communicate regularly with clients, mine personnel, project management, and field leadership regarding project progress and challenges.
• Support project startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and closeout activities.
