Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Mining Electrical Foreman to supervise electrical crews on active surface and underground mining projects. You will lead maintenance, construction, commissioning, shutdowns, and repairs of substations, MCCs, conveyors, crushers, pumps, and power distribution systems.

Minimum qualifications include a Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent, 7+ years of relevant experience, and supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industrial, mining, or heavy commercial electrical experience.
• Previous Foreman, Lead Electrician, or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of substations, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, transformers, conveyors, crushers, pumps, and process equipment.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and MSHA regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians while maintaining safe and productive operations.
• Supervise electrical maintenance, construction, commissioning, outages, and shutdown activities.
• Plan labor, equipment, materials, and daily work schedules.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and site safety standards.
• Conduct safety meetings, JHAs, audits, and LOTO verification activities.
• Coordinate work with operations, maintenance, project management, and customers.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for mining electrical systems.
• Mentor and develop field personnel while monitoring quality and productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and manpower tracking.
