Job summary

TYPSA, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Resident Construction Supervisor for solar facility projects in Texas.

You will oversee electrical, civil, and mechanical work, monitor schedule, budget, and quality, and provide QA/QC on-site support. The role requires a strong background in construction supervision for large renewable energy projects, knowledge of HV systems, and the ability to review contractor performance and test results.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Construction or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of Construction Management experience
• Knowledge of low, medium, and high voltage systems, transmission, overhead lines, and substations. Civil construction knowledge is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Valid driver's license and insurability under company policy

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical, civil, and mechanical work to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Conduct daily inspections and evaluate contractor performance.
• Provide QA/QC monitoring and field engineering support.
• Review contractor reports and perform schedule analysis.
• Witness testing and verify test results against criteria.
• Monitor safety programs and ensure compliance.
