Job summary

SEYSES in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee on-site mechanical construction for a utility-scale PV project. You will ensure works follow engineering docs, procedures, and safety standards while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical or related field, 2+ years in renewable energy, and on-site availability. You will monitor progress, enforce quality, and contribute to commissioning efforts on a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably utility-scale PV.
• Experience supervising mechanical works in photovoltaic plants, tracker/module installation, and construction quality control.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, layouts and technical documentation; strong knowledge of tolerances and torque specs.

Responsibilities

• Approve mechanical works procedures including resource planning, QC plan and IPP with safety measures.
• Supervise mechanical installation activities per approved engineering docs and project specs.
• Review and validate construction methods and material requirements before execution.
• Monitor daily progress to align with project schedule.
• Supervise and approve quality inspections and IPP results related to mechanical works.
• Report delays, safety risks or quality deviations; stop works if needed to prevent non-compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for project control.
• Report non-compliance from subcontractors and ensure corrective actions.
• Support mechanical activities during commissioning phases.
