Job summary

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, reliability, and compliance with military requirements, with a focus on obsolescence mitigation and production test equipment development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in electrical engineering in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and board-level troubleshooting.
• Familiar with BOM management, ECO processes, and engineering docs.
• Proficiency with Altium/OrCAD/Cadence and test fixture development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to keep products manufacturable and compliant.
• Manage electronic component obsolescence and implement replacement solutions.
• Design and maintain production/test fixtures for qualification and acceptance testing.
• Perform PCB retargets (respins) for obsolescence, improvements, and defect corrections.
• Create/modify schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions in production.
