Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks an Engineering Electrical Maintenance Technician in Santa Isabel, PR. You will plan and execute complex tasks to service electronic, electrical, and electromechanical units, calibrate systems, and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED with related technical education and 4+ years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, written and verbal.
• U.S. citizenship or equivalent status required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for engineering projects including testing, programming, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics and documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet goals and timelines.
• Contribute design improvement ideas and process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in investigations of defects and troubleshooting processes.
• Engage in RTRP exercises and execute with minimal supervision.
• Review and optimize critical equipment and process parameters for optimal operation.
• Validate first-piece run integrity and identify mechanical defects for root-cause analysis.
