Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Engineering Electrical Maintenance Technician in Santa Isabel, PR. You will plan and execute complex tasks to maintain and modify electronic, electrical, and electromechanical systems for testing and production. Relocation is not offered, and US citizenship is required.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, plus bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Onsite work in Puerto Rico is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for engineering projects and maintenance of systems.
• Prepare technical reports and schematics for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to support project goals and timelines.
• Contribute input on design improvements and process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and safety regulations.
• Participate in investigations and root-cause analysis for defects.
• Participate in RTRP exercises and execute with minimal supervision.
• Review and optimize critical process equipment and parameters.
• Validate first-piece run integrity.
• Identify mechanical defects for root-cause analysis.
