Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking skilled Maintenance Electricians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in our Florence, Alabama facilities. The role involves low- and high-voltage work, NEC standards, PLCs, and reading schematics and blueprints.

You will support renovations and ongoing maintenance on industrial equipment, perform preventive/predictive tasks, and ensure safe, compliant operations on site. Night shift availability with the ability to work independently is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Comfortable working independently on the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices, and electrical measuring devices.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to perform wiring and system repairs.
• Maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems in NEC compliance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to support automation processes.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Ensure safety regulations and electrical codes are followed; maintain a safe work environment on sites or plants.
• Participate in installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment and tooling.
• Diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and blueprint reading. This position offers an opportunity to work on renovation projects, and ongoing maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices, and electrical measuring devices.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system repairs.
• Maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes; maintain a safe work environment on construction sites or plant facilities.
• Performs Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Understands and follows the company Lock/Out Tag/Out procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
• Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment and tooling

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong multicraft OR electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
