Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and peak performance of our manufacturing infrastructure. You'll troubleshoot PLCs, calibrate high-voltage systems, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex electrical/control issues, inspecting equipment, maintaining motor drives up to 480V, using oscilloscopes and multimeters, and documenting maintenance activities for long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in heavy industrial electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and high‑voltage safety.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and VFDs.

• Conduct proactive equipment inspections to detect potential failures before they impact operational output.
• Execute precise maintenance on AC/DC motor drives, PLC networks, and high-voltage systems up to 480V.
• Install and calibrate advanced electronically-controlled equipment, including distribution centers and automated control panels.
• Utilize sophisticated diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters to ensure circuit integrity.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and material usage to support long-term equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support for ongoing production initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting PLC systems and variable frequency drives (VFD).

Preferred Skills

• Successful completion of the Ramsey Electrical aptitude assessment.
• Hands-on experience with HMI interfaces and industrial automation networks.
• Proven ability to maintain hydraulic and pneumatic electrical components.
