Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an IDIQ Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to lead electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project execution for critical facilities. You will oversee installations, testing, and commissioning while guiding technicians and subcontractors.

The role requires a Hawaii Journeyman license, 8+ years in electrical maintenance, and the ability to obtain Top-Secret/SCI clearance. Travel to support Pacific-region projects is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 8+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Hawaii Journeyman Electrical Maintenance Technician License required.
• Minimum 8 years in electrical maintenance, construction, or related fields.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical distribution systems, generators, UPS, and motor controls.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and facility systems.
• Lead electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and repair activities per project requirements and codes.
• Provide technical leadership to Technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate planned outages, safety compliance, and documentation.
• Support project planning, scheduling, turnover, and closeout activities.
