Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an experienced IDIQ Superintendent to lead field operations for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems on mission-critical projects.

This role oversees electricians, subcontractors, and site personnel, coordinating schedules, safety, quality, and customer interfaces to deliver on-time closeouts. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, procurement support, and maintenance of CMMS records, with travel as needed across the Pacific region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical maintenance, facilities operations, construction, or related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead corrective maintenance, service orders, IDIQ task orders, and small facility projects from planning through closeout.
• Supervise electricians, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and support personnel to ensure safety and quality.
• Manage daily field operations, workforce assignments, and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair, test, commission, and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Coordinate outages, switching operations, and LOTO activities.
• Serve as the primary field point of contact for customers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents; maintain field records and closeout documents.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and material management; assist in project estimates and schedules.
• Train and mentor technicians to promote safety and accountability.
