Job summary

M.C. Dean in Honolulu, HI, seeks an IDIQ Superintendent to lead corrective maintenance and facility projects across electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems. You will oversee field crews, ensure safety, and manage documentation from planning through closeout.

The role requires a Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License, strong leadership, and experience coordinating subcontractors and vendors. Travel to support Pacific region projects is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• State of Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License required.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required with relevant trade training.
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee corrective maintenance, service orders, IDIQ task orders, and small facility projects from planning through closeout.
• Supervise electricians, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
• Manage daily field operations, workforce assignments, resource allocation, and work prioritization.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair, test, commission, and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Plan and coordinate outages, switching operations, system restoration, and LOTO activities.
• Serve as the primary field point of contact for customers and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, and applicable codes.
• Maintain field reports, CMMS records, and closeout documentation.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and project startup activities.
• Mentor and develop technicians and electricians, emphasizing safety and accountability.
• Support multiple facilities and customers to ensure successful maintenance programs.
