Job summary

3defacto GmbH is seeking a Senior Electrical Assembly Technician to lead electrical work on customer sites and in our workshop. You will coordinate installation teams, plan work processes, and ensure safe, reliable wiring, testing, and handover of complete systems.

The role involves close collaboration with Project Management, Mechanical Design, Controls Engineering, and the Workshop. A vocational electrical qualification and leadership experience are required, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in electrical assembly, machine building, plant engineering, or site installation.
• Proven leadership experience coordinating installation teams and personnel.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for workshop and site operations.
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, wiring, control cabinets, sensors, actuators, drive tech, pneumatics.
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented with high responsibility and leadership.
• Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning within Germany and internationally.
• Good German language skills; English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership: supervise and support electrical assembly technicians on-site and in the workshop.
• Site management: plan, coordinate, and oversee work processes, schedules, resources, and progress.
• Workshop coordination: organize and prioritize workshop activities including control cabinet assembly and pre-assembly.
• Technical execution: ensure professional installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of components and systems.
• Coordination and communication: act as primary contact for Project Managers; coordinate with internal teams, customers and subcontractors.
• Material and resource planning: determine material needs and coordinate procurement and deployment.
• Quality, safety and documentation: monitor quality, ensure safety compliance and maintain project documentation.
