Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical assembly for each team’s projects.
• Work closely with the Lead Mechanical Assembly Tech through the build, de-bug, and commissioning of the project.
• Provide manufacturing support, assembly support, de-bug, and final qualification of the equipment.
• Ensure the project requirements are met prior to and during the internal and customer run-offs.

Job description

TheLeadElectricalAssemblyTechnicianwill berequired toleadtheelectricalassemblyofthe projects assigned to the team. AssemblyTechniciansreportdirectlytotheassemblyteamleader,somemuchofthedirectionon projects can come from the Project Team Leader and Director of Operations. AssemblyTechnicianswillbeaskedtoassistwiththedevelopmentandtrainingofnewteammembers and work study students.

Responsibilities

• Leadtheelectricalassemblyfor each team’s projects.
• Attendprojectmeetingsasrequestedbytheprojectteamleaderfromconcepttowrap-up.
• WorkcloselywiththeLeadMechanicalAssemblyTechthroughthebuild,de-bug,and commissioning of the project.Always supporting each other and the assembly techs.
• Providemanufacturingsupport,assemblysupport,de-bug,andfinalqualificationofthe equipment.
• Workwithengineeringtoanswerquestionsandsolvedesignissues.
• I/Ocheck,programload,andmachinede-bugensuringthateachrequirementofthescopeis met, and the project milestone dates are maintained.
• Ensuretheprojectrequirementsaremetpriorto,andduringtheinternalandcustomerrun-offs.
• Providefieldsupportfornewinstallationsincludingstartupandfinaltuning.Sometravelwill be required.
• Abilitytoworkindependentlywhileeffectivelycoordinatingworkwithotherteammembers.
• Abilitytoworkonmultipleprojectsaswellasbeamember ofacrossfunctional team.
• Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithteammembersandclients.
