Job summary

The W.C. Bradley Co. in Hope, AR seeks a Manager, Electrical and Instrumentation Systems to lead and develop all electrical, instrumentation, and controls functions across the pellet mill facility.

This role oversees PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, networks, robotics, and instrumentation while ensuring NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E compliance and safe operation. You will supervise site electricians, drive automation upgrades, and coordinate with Peebles, OH plant as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering experience and five years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
• Extensive experience with instrumentation, VFDs, motor control systems, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O lists, and network drawings.
• Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
• Availability to travel to Peebles, OH facility occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site electricians and control room operators, assigning daily tasks and setting performance expectations.
• Lead automation upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and modernization projects.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and RSLogix 5000.
• Design, maintain, and enhance SCADA systems for alarming and data collection.
• Configure and maintain industrial networks and control switches.
• Support plant production systems and packaging line automation.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and control panels.
