Job summary

W.C. Bradley Co. seeks a Manager of Electrical and Instrumentation Systems to lead electrical, instrumentation, and control functions across the pellet mill facility.

You will oversee design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networks to ensure reliable plant operation. The role requires at least five years in industrial electrical/controls engineering and leadership, with strong experience in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering experience and five years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
• Extensive experience with instrumentation, VFDs, motor control systems, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O lists, and network drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site electricians and control room operators, assigning daily tasks and setting performance expectations.
• Lead and manage industrial electricians and control room operators, developing team capability through coaching and training.
• Design, maintain, and optimize PLC logic and HMI/SCADA configurations.
• Oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and reliability across plants in Hope, AR and Peebles, OH as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, compliance, and project execution.
